Operations

The Town of Immokalee is located in South West Florida with a population of 24,154. The Department was established in 1953 and services a 234 square mile area including the town of Ave Maria from three stations. The District's 34 full-time and 3 part-time uniformed personnel, plus 8 Reserve and Volunteer Firefighters protect life, property and the environment through their direct involvement in fire prevention, firefighting, emergency medical care, technical rescue, hazardous materials mitigation, disaster response, public education and community service.​
